This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Hoop Dreams: Path to Glory ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. The App is published by Michael Silva. We have built the App to collect as little information as possible. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or other personal contact details to play.
Your game progress, including your careers, saves, settings, and stats, is stored locally on your device. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. If you delete the App, this information is removed with it.
The App offers a one-time optional purchase ("Premium Edition"). Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your credit card or payment details.
To deliver the purchase, restore it on your devices, and prevent fraud, we use a third-party service called RevenueCat. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat processes information such as a randomly generated app user identifier, your device and platform type, your country or region, and the purchase/transaction details. This is used only to manage your purchase and is not used to advertise to you or to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
If you choose to submit a score to an in-game leaderboard or challenge, the display name you enter and the related in-game results are transmitted so they can be shown on the leaderboard. Please do not enter real personal information (such as your full name) as a display name. If you do not submit to a leaderboard, this information is not sent.
The App includes a link to our community on Discord. If you tap it, you leave the App and are subject to Discord's own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices of services we link to.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No account or personal details are required to play. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a leaderboard display name, contact us using the details below and we will remove it.
We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App and the services it relies on. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
